Forest Bathing by Moonlight
It’s a beautiful night for a moon bath, with the stars up above in your eyes! Join Susie Spikol and Marilyn Wyzga for a series of peaceful, moonlit rambles across fields, along edges, and into the woods. Taking our cue from the Japanese Shinrin-yoku (“forest bathing”) practice, we’ll open our senses through gentle yoga poses, deep breathing, “coyote walking,” and quiet reflection. Come experience the moonlight. Learn more and for directions »

Babies in Backpacks and Toddlers in Tow
Join naturalist Susie Spikol for a gentle winter hike around the Harris Center’s grounds, specially geared towards babies, toddlers, and their caregivers. We’ll search for tracks, watch the winter birds, and listen for the first songs of spring. 10 to 11 a.m. at the Harris Center. Learn more and for directions »

Harris Center Classic: "Owl Moon" Prowl
Join naturalist Susie Spikol for this classic Harris Center family program. We’ll start indoors, where we’ll discover the fascinating adaptations that help these nocturnal birds of prey survive. Then we’ll walk quietly outside in hopes of calling in a barred owl or two. Come hoot it up on this full moon adventure for families and children of all ages! 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harris Center.
